ANTIQUE & COLORED MIRROR
Antique & Colored Mirror Installation
Antique mirror is glass that's been treated to look aged — with a mottled, slightly cloudy, or spotted finish instead of a perfectly clear reflection — while colored mirror is tinted glass in tones like bronze, pink, blue, green, gray, or gold. Both are decorative alternatives to standard clear mirror, and Ability Glass and Mirror supplies and installs a wide selection of each to add depth and character to a wall, backsplash, or feature piece.

CRAFTMANSHIP
Crafted To Add Warmth And Character
The aged look in antique mirror comes from a chemical distressing process applied to the mirror's silver backing before the glass is sealed, and no two sheets distress exactly the same way. Colored mirror gets its tone from tinted glass or a tinted backing layer. In both cases, we cut and edge-finish each piece to your specified dimensions, then install it flush-mounted or in a frame depending on the application, taking care with these more delicate finishes during handling and installation.

WHY CHOOSE ABILITY GLASS & MIRROR
Antique mirror is the right call when you want a space to feel established, layered, or a little imperfect in a good way — it's a favorite for accent walls, bar backs, and vintage-inspired interiors. Colored mirror works best when you want to warm up a room or add subtle contrast without introducing a bold pattern; bronze and smoke tones in particular read as upscale and pair well with brass or black fixtures. We personally love a pink mirror or the way a blue mirror can add depth to a table top or backsplash. The choice usually comes down to whether you want the mirror to feel aged, retro, modern, or sleek and tinted.
